APPLICATIONS:
This serie is general purpose couplings that connect under pressure for high pressure applications. The 1/4" stainless steel coupling connects together with a threaded brass sleeve. Polyurethane seals resist extrusion and abrasion. Mainly used in off-shore equipment and hydraulic lines in corrosive environments.
Rated pressure up to 10,000psi and 17,000psi intermittent pressure,small diameter mating seal keeps separate forces to a minimum,allowing easier threaded connection and disconnection at pressures up to 5,000psi.self-locking threads guard against accidental disconnection.
Visual connection indicator--when fully coupled, sleeve edge is flush with the end of the male thread standard end configuration is female pipe thread
