1. Safety Guard

This perfect binding machine is equipped with a safety guard preventing direct access to the cutting and gluing sections while the binding car is running. Do not open it before the machine is switched off.

2. Exhaust Fan

This perfect binder comes with an exhaust fan that helps discharge the air coming from the hot melt glue tank.

3. Control Console

● Manual / Auto: Once the cover is placed, the binding car will move to bind without pressing the Start button.

● (No) Cutting: Whether to cut the book spine.

● Clamping Pressure: For thinner book, set pressure higher.

● Temperature Control: Temperature can be set from the control console.

● Clamping Time: The time that the book and cover are being clamped. Usually set at 3.

4. Paper Table

The inner pages can be placed here for users' easier access.

5. Paper Jogger Table

This table is designed to let users make paper neat before they put it into the binding car.

6. Cover Shelf

Front covers are placed here for easier access during operation.

7. Binding Steps

The binding car with the inner sheets will be firstly cut by milling cutter and comb cutter. This allows the glue to soak into the spine to make the gluing secure. Then the book goes to apply glue to the spine and the sides of the book. Finally, with the front cover, the book will be clamped for a few seconds to let the glue stick well to the paper.

8. Side Gluing Device

This glue book binding machine has two glue tanks, one for the spine and the other for the sides of the book. Glue amount for the spine area is adjustable.

9. Waste Collecting Bag

The binder has a waste collecting bag in the cabinet collecting the waste and dust coming from the cutting unit.

10. Clamping Unit

Place the cover against the cover guides. When the binding car arrives at the clamping unit, the clamp will lift and clamp the book.

11. Cover Guide

Make the center of the cover align with the cover center indicator (arrow) and set up the cover guide.

12. Adjustable Spine Shape

Turn these knobs can make the clamp table higher and lower, leading the spine to be squarer or rounder.
