    Product Introduction:

    Our piston can be opened to access and change the seal inside. Plastic pistons are factory sealed and can only be replaced. We now use TEFLON SEALS on the piston they last longer perform better and withstand the heat very well.

 

    Aluminum Piston Sleeve:

    So many of these pumps are using steel metal piston sleeves & as you know compressed air carries water in it. The water in the air will corrode this sleeve, tear the seals, and seize the piston. This sleeve corrosion renders the pump dead as the cost to replace (If it is even available as a part) is very high. Our pump has an aluminum sleeve with a proprietary anti corrosion coating. Although excessive water will ruin any pump our sleeve will last a very long time.

 

    Metal air vent:

    As the pump pushes oil out it must inhale air into the reservoir. As the pump is released and the ram/piston retracts oil returns to the reservoir and needs to exhale air. These plastic plugs are constantly clogged, cross threaded, missing and ruin the performance of the pump.

    We supply a metal AIR VENT with a steel valve burled head. Simple stupid; using the pump turn burled head out (loosen counter clockwise), transporting pump, turn brass burled head down tight (Right clockwise).

 

    Cast iron reservoir:

    There are many brands that still use plastic reservoirs and housings for these style pumps. Well, we all know this is a foot pump so it used / placed on the floor. So it is dragged and dropped constantly. I lost count of how many reservoirs I changed and / or melted and repaired cracks on over the years. I also found tons of shops with their pumps in pails with "Oil dry" collecting the leaking oil and some idiots running a bone dry pump and ruining them.

    We supply a cast iron reservoir that takes a beating! This is a solid base. It resists corrosion and will not crack or split.
