The BT1030A has a spindle bore of .82 which is more than three quarters of an inch. Power cross feed rounds out the features of this beautiful Bolton Tools metal lathe. The Saddles can travel up to 26 inches and with 27 Threads in English and 10 Metric, you can thread until the cows come home. The BT1030A sports a 5 inch 3 Jaw Chuck and comes standard with two sets of jaws. If your work piece requires more gripping, we do offer a 5 inch 4 jaw chuck that won't let you down. Don't let the power specifications fool you, this machine's spindle speeds are 150 rpm - 2000 rpm's and it won't break the bank with electricla cost running at 110v, Single Phase and 1HP.
